Online booking for all our forthcoming tours from November in Europe and Worldwide has now been implemented and is up and running. Online booking for the UK tours has been available for some time and is very popular.

We hope you find this an improvement and a useful and time-saving resource.

RTC image gallery

We have set up a Flickr image gallery for you to share any train pictures taken on one of our tours.
We hope it will become a popular place for people to visit and contribute to.

As an added incentive three images from the gallery will be chosen by an independent judge and used in one of our forthcoming brochures. There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd! (1st will receive £200, 2nd £100 and 3rd £50) The winners will be credited in the brochure and announced here on the web site.

Roger Harvey ABIPP, AMPA is a Master Photographer, qualified in General Practice by both The British Institute of Professional Photography and The Master Photographers Association. He has recently moved to Suffolk and semi-retired from a very busy and successful photographic studio in Cornwall, having carried out commissions for national and international companies, as well running a portrait studio. For many years, Roger was Chairman of a national group comprising some of the best qualified photographers in the UK.

Roger said, "I really enjoyed judging this photographic competition - the standard was good but I loved the enthusiasm for the subject matter. It is always difficult to judge such a specialist area and I have therefore judged only on photographic criteria and what the images have conveyed because pictures should tell stories as an alternative to words. In many cases, this was well achieved.
